Lucía Marín

The newspaper El País named Lucía Marín as one of Spain’s rising stars in orchestra conducting. She has a broad symphonic and lyrical repertoire and has conducted orchestras in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Romania, China and the USA, including the Cordoba Orchestra, the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, UKSO Symphony Orchestras and ISU Symphony Orchestra. Cheryl Frances-Hoad

Cheryl Frances-Hoad was born in Essex in 1980 and received her musical education at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge (BA (Hons) Music (double 1st), MPhil with Distinction (Composition)) and Kings College London (PhD, Composition). [+more]


Margarita Lorenzo De Reizábal

Margarita Lorenzo De Reizábal

Margarita Lorenzo de Reizábal was born in Bilbao where she completed her advanced studies in piano and composition, receiving Honorary End of Degree Prizes. She has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from Valencia Polytechnic University. She was the pianist of the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra from 1982 to 1998. She has a master’s degree in Psychodidactics from the University of the Basque Country. She studied orchestra conducting in England with R. Saglimbeni, G.Hurstand N. Thompson, and perfected her technique with R. Houlihanand Denise Ham. [+more]


Otto Schwarz

Otto Schwarz

Otto M. Schwarz was born in Neunkirchen, Austria, in 1967. He grew up in Wimpassing (Lower Austria, south of Vienna), where he still lives today. Otto M. Schwarz received his music education at the Academy of Music in Vienna, where he studied trumpet with Professor Josef Pombetger of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and composition with Professor Heinz Kratochwil. During this period he created his first compositions in the area of light music. [+more]


Miguel A. Roig-Francoli

Miguel Roig-Francoli

Miguel A. Roig-Francolí (Ibiza, 1953) lives in the USA, where he’s a Distinguished Professor of Music Theory and Composition at the University of Cincinnati. His work as a composer, musicologist and teachers has been widely recognized and won awards internationally. [+more]
